Ingrid Hart, M.A., is an award-winning travel writer who holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Humboldt State University, Arcata and a master’s degree in Culture and Spirituality from Holy Names University, Oakland.
Ingrid is the author of My Year In California: A Journey Toward Midlife Renewal, a full-color travelogue with over ninety photographs documenting California’s vast cultural landscape. It’s a story about adventure, freedom and liberation. It’s also about challenge, struggle, conflict, and the universal longing to find our way home.
For the past 21 years, Ingrid has been the owner of a marketing and communications firm committed to advancing the relationship between individuals and technology. Ingrid’s emotional intelligence combined with keen analytical business skills manifests in a rare hybrid of left-brain, right-brain, double-agent action. Right now, Ingrid is supporting a consulting firm in the Silicon Valley that integrates social media into marketing strategies at Fortune 500 companies.
To remain active, Ingrid likes to stand-up paddleboard, kayak, hike, and rollerblade. She enjoys being outdoors—from the ocean to the mountains and the desert, she loves it all. The most private thing she’s willing to admit is that she knows how to recite all the states in alphabetical order.
